Locally owned and operated, Rockhampton Mavericks Western
Wear has been operating for the past 26 years. Continuing to grow with our
ever-popular daily mail service and online shopping facility, Rocky Mavericks
prides itself on great customer service and quality products.

 The History:

In 1999 the Tranter family expanded their Mavericks Western
Wear store located in Brisbane and opened a second location at The Great
Western Hotel Complex, Rockhampton. 2004 saw The Ford family take over the
business separating from the Brisbane store and becoming its own entity in
Rockhampton Mavericks Western Wear.

 Expanding the business in 2012, Rocky Mavericks was
relocated to its current location at 161 Canning Street, Allenstown and
continues to thrive as a family-owned store.

Our store underwent some massive changes during 2024, with
Rocky Mavericks being re-branded to honour a much-loved member of the Ford
Family. Our new logo incorporates the silhouette of Midnight Johnny - a
favourite bronc in the Ford Bucking String.
